Expressway Driver Training Ltd is a family business which delivers driving lessons throughout most of Lancashire. It is one of only a few local driving schools that operate exclusively with local instructors that have all undergone additional extra training from the owners of the school.

If you are aged between 17 and 70 we can teach you how to drive. You can be sure of a high standard of driving instructor and quality driving lessons that will be conducted with you in a friendly, patient and professional way. Your driving instructor will customise your driving lessons to suit you personally which means you avoid stress by learning at your own speed.
We welcome you if you are a complete novice or a nervous driver or even if you are a complete natural with bags of confidence, whatever your current driving ability may be, we can construct a plan to prepare you for your driving test.
We have an excellent team of male and female driving instructors at Expressway, our policy is to match you up with an instructor who will suit you personally and be able to fulfil your requirements and wishes in how you want to learn to drive, whether its by having one or two hours per week, or learning on a Quick Pass Intensive Course spread over one to six weeks.
Our current pass rate is way in excess of the national average. We will collect you from and return you to your home, college or work place for your lesson.
All staff at Expressway have been trained by the proprietor. To work under the name of Expressway they must be licensed by the Driving Standards Agency. All instructors must now undergo a check on their history and character with the Criminal Records Bureau. They must be a true professional as well as being genuinely friendly and understanding. You may think that all other driving instructors are like this 'how wrong can you be' Your driving instructor will provide a modern clean air-conditioned car fitted with dual controls for your safety. Every effort is made to ensure that you always have the same vehicle all the way through your training and right up to you passing your driving test.
